King Documents (King Docs) provides online tools at kingdocuments.com for converting, compressing, merging, signing, transcribing and editing documents, images, audio and video. What we collect

We only collect what we need to run the service:

• Account details: if you sign up or register for a plan, your name, email address and login details.
• Files you upload: documents, images, audio or video you submit to a tool, and the files it produces.
• Messages: what you send us by email, phone or contact form.
• Technical and usage data: basic information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and tool usage, collected through server logs and cookies.
• Payment information: if you buy a plan, payment is handled by our payment providers. We do not store full card details.

How we use your files

Files you upload are used only to perform the conversion or edit you request and to deliver the result back to you. We do not sell your files, we do not share them with anyone for their own purposes and we do not use them to train artificial intelligence or other models. We don’t look at file contents except where needed to fix a problem you report, or where required by law.

How we use your information

We use personal data to provide and improve our tools, manage accounts and plans, process payments, reply to messages, keep the service secure and prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running a reliable service, your consent (for example for non-essential cookies) and legal obligations.

How long we keep data

Uploaded and processed files are deleted automatically after processing within a short period: [confirm retention period, e.g. X hours]. Account details are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Messages and billing records are kept only as long as needed for support, accounting and legal purposes.

Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers that help us run King Documents, under appropriate agreements:

• Hosting and delivery: Hostinger (web hosting) and Cloudflare (content delivery and security).
• Payments: payment providers that process plan purchases, where applicable.
• Analytics: analytics providers that help us understand site usage, where applicable.

We may also disclose information if required by law. Some providers may process data outside your country; where this happens we take steps to protect it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No online service can be completely secure, so please avoid uploading files you are not entitled to share.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent and to receive a copy of your data.
